Mid-Level Landscape Architect Job Description

Requirements

–        Passionate about sustainable development and design

–        5-10 years of experience in the profession of Landscape Architecture

–        Self-motivated and works independently

–        Solid interpersonal and communication skills

–        Public speaking ability

–        Marketing and or customer service experience

–        Proficiency in all typical software applications for landscape architecture

–        Landscape Architect License

Core Responsibilities

–        Project management

–        Work closely with the Principal and senior staff of the firm

–        Mentor and supervise junior staff

–        Present at conferences and open houses

–        Develop materials for community outreach and public consultation

–        Regularly communicate with clients and key stakeholders for various projects

Education Requirements

–        Undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture

 

Entry-Level Landscape Architect/Designer Job Description

Requirements

–        Passionate about sustainable development and design

–        Interest in natural resources and integrating nature into urban places

–        1-3 years of experience in the profession of Landscape Architecture

–        Self-motivated

–        Solid interpersonal and communication skills

–        Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup, Microsoft Office and GIS

Core Responsibilities

–        Work closely with the Principal and senior staff of the firm

–        Schematic design

–        Design development

–        Construction documents

–        Construction administration

–        Public workshop graphics

–        GIS production

Education Requirements

–        Undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture
