Grayson aims for a collaborative approach to designing regenerative landscapes, and ultimately to create places that inspire people to become stewards of their communities.

Grayson Morris, PLA

Grayson is a landscape architect who is dedicated to creating regenerative urban landscapes and to preserving the resilience of natural systems.

He believes that impactful design requires a thorough understanding of the complex landscapes within which we work. Those critical first steps in the life of a project, whether it’s thoughtful research or public engagement, result in simple, elegant solutions that meet the needs of the communities that we serve.

With a background in environmental science and public art, he feels fortunate to work in a field that applies multidisciplinary knowledge, and that each day brings together teams of allied professionals and diverse communities to take on challenging endeavors. Grayson aims for a collaborative approach to designing landscapes, and to create places that inspire people to become stewards of resilient communities.

Grayson values how the GreenWorks team, and the profession of landscape architecture in general, supports continuing education and volunteer service. He has sought out additional training throughout his career, such as community engagement facilitation and USGBC Sustainable SITES Accreditation, as well as meaningful pathways to give back to his community.

When Grayson is not working from GreenWorks’ satellite office in Seattle, he’s enjoying time with family and planning outdoor adventures.
