GreenWorks, a regional leader in landscape architecture and environmental design, is expanding their practice to Bend, Oregon. Jim Figurski, Senior Landscape Architect, will head up the new Bend office. After 20 years of providing services to Central Oregon clients on projects like Bend Whitewater Park, Mirror Pond Visioning, The Simpson Pavilion, Sisters Cascade Avenue, and current work on the Mirror Pond Bank and Trail Improvements and Big Sky Park projects, “it was time to make a permanent commitment to the region” says GreenWorks Principal Gill Williams.
In addition to having a presence in the Central Oregon market, the Bend office will serve clients in Eastern Oregon, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah. This office will allow GreenWorks to be a more accessible, providing responsive and timely services on projects including parks and recreation, stormwater management, transportation, green infrastructure, habitat restoration, and urban design. Principal Mike Faha added “we are grateful to our existing clients in Central Oregon and look forward to what the future holds.”
As a practice founded in 1987, GreenWorks is celebrating 30 years of innovating solutions for clients by linking natural resources, urban environments, and people. As we grow, this focus will continue to be a key distinction of our work and our mission: Integrating people and nature through creative and sustainable design.
