I have witnessed young professionals glow following a client’s complement. I have watched junior designers command an audience in a public meeting. I have enjoyed creative and tense debates with co-workers over ideas where I have learned something about myself while witnessing the aptitude of a co-worker.

Gill Williams, PLA, ASLA

As a principal, Gill Williams works across GreenWorks to help connect each team member with the firm’s goals and mission. Knowing that empowered individuals become confident professionals, Gill is passionate about helping staff define their personal ambitions so they can create a clear road map for a future that’s as rewarding for them as it is for GreenWorks.

With a focus on operations, Gill is driven to create a collaborative culture where thoughts are heard and considered, new design ideas are explored through meaningful dialogue, and staff can freely create, imagine, and grow. “I have witnessed young professionals glow following a client’s complement. I have watched junior designers command an audience in a public meeting. I have enjoyed creative and tense debates with co-workers over ideas where I have learned something about myself while witnessing the aptitude of a co-worker.”

Gill is a licensed landscape architect in five western states and has advanced training in leadership, project management, business development, and quality control. With over 27 years of experience, Gill’s knowledge of the construction industry’s methods and materials gives him the insight to develop creative solutions that are buildable and cost effective.

When Gill is not leading the charge at GreenWorks he enjoys traveling, cooking, snorkeling, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite sports teams with his wife, Sally, and their two children, Aiden and Claire.
