I view the world through an artistic lens, and I want to create memorable outdoor experiences that engage the senses and spark curiosity.

Stephanie Sells

Stephanie is a landscape designer who works to strengthen the connection between people and place. By viewing the world through an artistic lens, she hopes to create memorable outdoor experiences that engage the senses and spark curiosity.

She has worked on a variety of projects including residential gardens and public parks. On a smaller scale, she has an interest in water features, sculptures, and interpretive signage along trail networks.

With the help of Plant Amnesty Volunteers and other UW students, she received the ASLA National Honor Award for the design-build at the Cass Turnbull Garden in Seattle. During her studies, she was a member of EcoReps, an organization that promotes a culture of sustainability through creative fundraising efforts.

Stephanie enjoys working at GreenWorks because of the shared passion for restoring natural systems and shaping more livable communities.

When Stephanie is not scribbling ideas on paper, she can be found shopping at the nearest thrift store, baking a fruit cobbler, or hiking with her dogs: Zeus and Aura. As an avid gamer, she is always in search of the most beautiful fantasy landscape.
