George Rogers Park Kiosk

GreenWorks prepared the Master Plan for George Rogers Park located along the Willamette River in Lake Oswego. The project created visual and physical connections to the Willamette River and between elements within the park. Gateway enhancements, interpretive elements, and improved waterfront access were key design components.

This project consists of improvements at George Rogers Park adjacent to and surrounding the historic iron furnace (the only surviving iron furnace west of the Rockies). Work includes an interpretive kiosk and shelter measuring approximately 12 feet by 12 feet with custom metal work within the shelter to support the interpretive display. Flagstone paving and paths surround the kiosk and the restored smelter.
