GreenWorks was responsible for developing site and landscape plans for this new major expansion of a wastewater treatment facility along the northern California coast. The site was under heavy scrutiny by local residents and the California Coastal Commission. GreenWorks developed an extensive species list of native and adapted plants, topographic and vegetative screening strategies and development of a small plaza associated with an adjacent bike and pedestrian path. GreenWorks presented schematic design drawings and received City Council approval. We also created a three dimensional animated computer simulation that allows viewers to move around the plant and view it from different angles. This simulation was critical to receiving public support.
