This new multi-service center in Gresham is a collaboration with TVA Architects and Rubicon Development. The new building houses a range of social support services, for families in East Multnomah County. The demand for larger parking areas required significant buffering from adjacent residential zones, and incorporation of accessible paths, trees, and landscape to minimize larger paved areas. Landscape strategies include a welcoming courtyard entry flanked by stormwater swales, along with significant stormwater infrastructure woven through the parking areas to manage water quality and provide visible ecological processes while allowing for views of nature from inside the facility.
