GreenWorks served as a planning partner and advisor on a multidisciplinary project team for the City of Soldotna to envision a redevelopment along the Kenai River. GreenWorks assisted the project team with site analysis, environmental review, public engagement, conceptual planning, and master planning. This project built upon previous planning work by the City and culminated in the development of a master plan for the interconnected parks, trails, streetscapes, and open space within the riverfront redevelopment area. The central goal of the project was to create a roadmap for the City to build toward a lively, prosperous, and environmentally healthy riverfront that is true to the identity of Soldotna.
