Farmington Fluoridation Facility

GreenWorks provided landscape architectural design services for the Farmington Fluoridation Facility and Discharge Main project, contributing to the visual integration of new utility infrastructure within the surrounding urban and natural context. Working closely with the engineering team, GreenWorks developed a comprehensive landscape plan that balanced functional screening, aesthetic enhancement, and environmental sensitivity.

Design efforts focused on creating an attractive and low-maintenance landscape that meets city requirements for buffering and street trees while blending the facility into its neighborhood setting. Illustrative renderings and visual simulations supported community engagement and land use approvals.

Through thoughtful plant selection, efficient irrigation systems, and strategic site design, the project successfully enhanced the appearance and ecological function of the Farmington Road Booster Pump Station and Discharge Main improvements.
