GreenWorks is proud to highlight our long-standing presence in Central Oregon, where our team has been actively supporting communities for many years. With three dedicated staff members based in the region, we are deeply connected to local communities, agencies, and project partners, bringing place-based knowledge and regional insight to every project.
Our Central Oregon team brings a combined 85 years of landscape architecture experience, enabling GreenWorks to stay closely attuned to local conditions, collaborate effectively with partners, and remain responsive throughout planning, design, and implementation. Over the years, we have contributed to a wide range of projects across Bend, Sisters, Terrebonne, and surrounding communities - delivering neighborhood and community parks, open spaces, trails, resiliency planning, and community-focused landscapes that reflect the region’s unique character and ecology. Highlights of our work in Central Oregon include Smith Rock State Park, the Mirror Pond Bank & Trail Improvements, and the Sisters Cascade Avenue Streetscape, among many other projects that enhance public spaces and community access to nature.
The 2025 wildfire season further underscored the growing community concerns that Central Oregon faces at the intersection of fire, water, and climate. In response, GreenWorks is actively supporting Firewise- and Waterwise -focused resiliency planning tailored to the region’s landscape, climate, and development patterns, including our work with Sisters City Hall to advance locally grounded resilience strategies. Our approach emphasizes reducing wildfire risk, conserving limited water resources, and strengthening the relationship between the built and natural environments, helping communities adapt while protecting the ecosystems that define Central Oregon.
We’re proud of our ongoing work in Central Oregon communities and look forward to continuing to serve and support the region. Learn more about our Central Oregon team - Mike Faha, Rachel Scarborough, and Jeff Boggess - by visiting our ‘Team’ page.
