Multi-use Trail Types Explainer Video

The Apple Capital loop Trail through Riverfront Park in Wenatchee, Washington is often so busy that cyclists and pedestrians routinely come into conflict.

As part of our recent collaboration with the City of Wenatchee and the Chelan Public Utility District on a Riverfront Park Development Plan, the GreenWorks team developed a number of different trail configurations in these areas to alleviate these issues and provide safe and clear areas for users on foot or on wheels.

We then created the proposed design for the park in a virtual environment, similar to what video game designers do.

This video animation uses this virtual environment to showcase how the different designs will be experienced by users of the trail.
