Senior Landscape Designer/Architect & Project Manager
A Senior Landscape Designer/Architect & Project Manager will collaborate in a team environment to market, manage business development efforts, design, coordinate and present ideas relating to a variety of challenging planning and design projects.
This individual demonstrates creativity, foresight, and maturity in design judgment when anticipating and solving design complexities. It is essential to pass on your knowledge to others and support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture
Passionate about sustainable development and urban design
10+ years of experience in the profession of Landscape Architecture and Design
Business Development/Marketing experience
Proficiency in all typical software applications for landscape architecture
Strong graphic communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Project management on small and large complex projects
Work closely with Principals and senior staff of the firm
Mentor and supervise junior staff
Manage subconsultants and collaborate across disciplines on projects
Develop materials for community outreach and public consultation
Regularly communicate with clients and key stakeholders for various projects
An ideal candidate has:
Landscape Architect License preferred but not required
Transportation focus (streetscapes, ped and bike facilities, and transit facilities)
Experience in all phases of Landscape Architecture from master planning, design development, construction documentation, cost estimating, and construction administration
Experience with creative 3D and illustration platforms such as Sketchup, Rhino, Revit, Civil3D and Lumion
Experience with design and production software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and LandFX
Excellent verbal, written and graphic communications
Permitting and mitigation design experience
Self-motivated and works independently
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Public speaking ability
